This beautiful kimono textile was made in the early 20th century in Japan. It used to use as underwear which is worn inside a kimono.
 
This Kimono was made from several small silk fragments of kimonos that have been reconstructed.
In the past, textile was very precious in Japan, and when kimonos were no longer worn, they were reconstructed and sometimes turned into underwear.
 
It is a very delicate material and has torn in some places, so please use it for display purposes only. An excellent collector's piece.
