This is a katazome indigo-dyed cotton textile. This one printed a lot of Chrysanthemum flowers in a tortoiseshell pattern.
 
Katazome is a Japanese technique of stencil resist dyeing that involves drawing rice-paste designs on cloth, dyeing the cloth, and then washing off the paste.
 
This one repaired a lot of holes with another fragments and Sashiko stitching in old-times.
