This textile is a very old cotton Boro fragment. It has been used for various purposes, such as clothing and bedding while being repaired over and over again.
 
Small fabrics were stitched together with Sashiko stitching. It has been used and washed for a long time, so it has a soft texture and a beautiful faded color.
